The Coastal Program provides technical and financial assistance through voluntary partnerships with local organizations and landowners to carry out coastal habitat conservation and restoration.  Field staff located at the Coastal Program's 24 regional offices work with local stakeholders to identify, prioritize, design, and implement projects for the benefit of Federal trust species. For examples of Coastal Program projects, check out our Coastal Program factsheet
