Lodging
This year’s Workshop will take place at the world renown Moody Gardens Hotel and Convention Center located on the shores of Galveston Bay. Moody Gardens, a non-profit education destination, opened in the mid-1980s and is now one of the premier educational and leisure facilities in the Southwest. It also provides horticultural therapy, education and employment for persons with a wide range of physical and emotional disabilities.
Room blocks have been secured onsite at an average rate of $169/night. This rate has been guaranteed for Workshop attendees until October 3, 2023, after which we cannot guarantee the group price. There are a limited number of rooms available so we encourage you to secure your lodging ASAP!
There are numerous other hotels within walking distance or a short car ride from Moody Gardens. If you’re unable to secure a room onsite, we recommend:
Rooms must be reserved directly with the hotel and RAE is not responsible for guaranteeing space or lodging for any Workshop attendees.
Transportation
Moody Gardens Hotel & Convention Center does not provide shuttle service to or from the airport. However, the Hotel recommends Airport Transportation Service and reservations can be made by calling 832.891.9690. Other transportation options can be found here.
