Community Service Restoration Project

Community Service Restoration Project

Each year, the Summit hosts a community service project in partnership with a local, on-the-ground organization. Conference attendees have the chance to get out in the field, remove invasive species, plant grasses, remove debris, and enjoy the outdoors. This Summit, our restoration project will take place on Sunday, October 4.

At the 2018 Summit, RAE partnered with Tidal Influence to organize a restoration project in the Los Cerritos Wetlands outside Long Beach, California. Volunteers planted 230 native plants and removed 350 pounds of nonnative vegetation. Read more about this event on our blog »

We are still planning the 2020 Restoration Project, so please stay tuned for more details.
