Community Connection Sessions
Overview
The Community Connection Sessions are a locally driven engagement initiative intended to strengthen relationships, build capacity, and support meaningful participation from community-based organizations (CBOs) across the Great Lakes region.
Through these sessions, selected organizations will serve as local hosts, convening 8–12 community-based organizations within their communities. These gatherings create space for dialogue, connection, and shared learning, while also providing opportunities to elevate local priorities and perspectives that can inform program design and capacity building efforts.
We are currently seeking community-based organizations who are interested in serving as local hosts, specifically in Minnesota and Tribal Communities across the Great Lakes.
If this opportunity is of interest to your organization, please reach out to Lisette Perez, Program Associate, at lperez@estuaries.org. Funding is available to support host organizations in planning and facilitating these community connection sessions.
