Protect & Build

Simultaneously, RAE works to promote policies that support coastal restoration while also advancing the science and practice of techniques and strategies to increase coastal resilience and protect against the impacts of climate change. As the national leaders in Blue Carbon and natural infrastructure, RAE is working to confront these impacts through both mitigation and adaptation.

RAE further recognizes that creating a sustainable future for our coastal communities requires support for and participation by all members of those communities. Through our Inclusive Coasts Initiative, we are changing the face of coastal conservation, helping to ensure that the benefits of coastal restoration are shared by all, and that people who traditionally have been underserved by environmental conservation become essential voices for the future.

In collaboration with countless partners, allies, and supporters, RAE works day-in and day-out to bring to reality our vision of a future in which bays and estuaries are healthy, thriving, and resilient ecosystems for both people and wildlife to benefit from and enjoy.

Now more than ever, our nation’s most environmentally, economically, and culturally important waters need your help. A host of threats loom over the future of our coasts and the communities that rely on them. Sea-level rise, flooding, erosion and other impacts from a changing climate are impacting an increasing number of areas with increasing frequency.

Your donation will help us engage local communities to bring about on-the-ground results, advance science and policy to conserve endangered areas across the country and ensure the benefits of coastal restoration are shared by all communities.

Every dollar raised helps us protect and restore vital coastal ecosystems and communities in harm’s way. We can’t do it without you. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to Restore America’s Estuaries today.
