2021 Living Shorelines Tech Transfer Workshop
October 19, 2021 - October 20, 2021
Join Restore America’s Estuaries, American Littoral Society, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, and the Chesapeake Bay and New Jersey field offices of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service for the fifth Living Shorelines and Nature-Based Methods Tech Transfer Workshop. We will gather in beautiful Cape May, New Jersey, to talk all things living shorelines. This workshop is geared for landowners and professionals, anyone working in the marketing, design, construction, or permitting of living shorelines and nature-based shoreline stabilization.
In an effort to create the safest and most accessible event possible, we are now offering a virtual option for attendees who are unable to join us in person for the 2021 Living Shorelines Tech Transfer Workshop. Virtual attendees will have access to the full Workshop via video conference, as well as a virtual field trip opportunity. We are asking current and future registrants to declare their intended attendance option no later than Oct 2. Given this change, we have also made the decision based on the best available information to require all in-person attendees of the 2021 Living Shorelines Tech Transfer Workshop in Cape May, NJ to be at least 14-days removed from their final Covid-19 vaccine dose. All guests attending the in-person workshop will need to provide confirmation of Covid-19 vaccination as part of registration. As an additional measure of safety, we will no longer be accepting on-site registrations, as in years past and all “registration swaps” must occur before October 1.
