The 2023 Living Shorelines Tech Transfer Workshop, was held from October 24-25 at the Moody Gardens Hotel & Convention Center in Galveston, TX.

This event, hosted by Restore America’s Estuaries and Galveston Bay Foundation, presented a unique platform to learn, engage, and exchange knowledge with professionals, experts, and stakeholders in the field of coastal and estuarine habitat restoration. Our focus wass on Living Shorelines – an innovative and nature-based solution to shoreline stabilization and ecosystem conservation.

More than 250 professionals, practitioners, and policy makers joined us for two days of insightful presentations, invigorating discussions, and valuable networking opportunities. We discussed cutting-edge research findings, best practices, case studies, and the dynamic interplay between living shorelines and coastal resilience.
